  1. Help... I'm having troubles seeing some of your webpages
With all of the different web browsers out there, not all of them function the same way. Because of this, our website has been designed to work with the most common web browsers. If you are having problems viewing some of our web pages, like our homestudy program pages, please check that you are using either Internet Explorer or Safari web browers. There are known problems with some of the other web browsers therefore in order to optimally view our full website, please use one of our recommended web browsers. If you are still having problems, please contact us at jk@jkseminars.com for additional help.

  2. I can't seem to open the PDFs on your website. How do I do that?
Parts of our website use embedded PDFs. If you are having problems viewing these, you may not have a current version of Adobe Reader on your computer. To download a free copy of Adobe Reader, please go to our home page and click on the 'Get Adobe Reader' icon at the bottom of the page. You may have to close the website and restart it after downloading the Adobe Reader before being able to view our embedded PDFs. Please follow the instructions for downloading Adobe Reader as it also may require that you restart your computer before the changes are applied.

  3. How can I listen to the sample audio clips? I get a blank screen when I click on the audio tab.
You can listen to the sample clips by clicking on the "sample audio" tab of any home study program page. In order to listen to the audio, you will need to have an audio player plug-in installed. Most browsers come with a plug-in installed. If you do not see an audio window appear, you can download the Quicktime or Real Player plug-ins which will allow you to listen to the sample clips.

  4. Is your website secure?
Yes. Our website has two types of webpages, informational webpages and webpages that require the user to input sensitive data like user names, passwords or credit card information. All of our informational webpages are not considered secure pages as they only provide you with information and don't request information to be inputted. As soon as you click on an icon to add something to your shopping cart and then check out, you will see that the website address (URL) will change from 'http://jkseminars.com/...' to 'https://jkseminars.com/...'. The addition of the 'S' after the http signifies that the encryption security is in place and the webpage is now secure.

You may also see a little lock appear after the website address (URL) at the top of your web browser. This lock signifies that the website is now secure. If you click on the lock icon, you should see a message box that says that the server is encrypted. If you click on 'View Certificate' inside this message box you will see the details about the certificate, that it's issued to www.jkseminars.com, that it's issued by Equifax and it's valid dates.

If you are still concerned with the security of this website, please feel free to place your order by phone, mail or fax instead.

  7. How do I download my Audio Downloads that I just purchased?

After purchasing your downloadable audio files, you should see an order confirmation page with all of your available files.

*If you do not, please give it a few minutes for the order to clear and then log in to your J&K account using the login link at the top right corner of the website.  Follow the underlined section below for 'If you lose your connection'.  Once back to your list of available downloadable files, follow the download instructions.

    Download Instructions

    • Create a folder on your desktop and name it as the program ID you are downloading (e.g. P0903).
    • Click the green arrows to the left of each downloadable file.
    • Choose the “Save” option and select the file folder you have created on your desktop.
    • Download Files

    ·         If you lose your connection, your files will be available for download in your My Account Information.  After you log back in, the My Account Information link is located on the left frame of our home page.  Click My Account Overview and then My Downloads.

    • For instructions on how to use these files with iTunes, open the ReadMe.txt file.

    * Note - for Firefox and Safari users, your files will be saved in the Downloads Folder. You will need to move the files from the Downloads Folder to the new folder you have created on your desktop.

  8. I've downloaded my audio files but how do I listen to the files?

With each download you will download a ReadMe.txt file.  This file should be located in the folder that you created to store your downloaded files. We suggested that you put this file folder initially on your desktop, so look there first.  If you find this file folder and your ReadMe.txt file isn't there, please log back into your J&K account, go to your 'My Account' information and scroll down to the 'My Downloads' section.  The ReadMe.txt file should exist as one of the available files to download.  Redownload it and put it in the folder with all of your other downloaded audio, handout and test files.

Inside this ReadMe.txt file are the instructions for how to use iTunes to either listen to the files on your computer or how to load them onto your mp3 device.  To use other audio player software, please consult their instructions.
