Presented By
Thursday & Friday - April 7 & 8, 2005
Program Description
The presentation will begin with an overview of the key areas of brain function and how these areas are expected to operate to foster optimal learning and productivity in school. Dr. Levine will describe a system for localizing specific breakdown points in the learning process. This system labels the phenomena instead of the child. Mel (as he likes to be called) will focus on how students can be either productive or unproductive in schools. He will explore the various mechanisms underlying weak school performance and then provide a framework for enhancing children’s understanding and productivity during their years in school. |
