In purchasing programs from our company via our website, mail, fax or by phone, all customer information we collect is solely used for the purpose of J&K Seminars, LLC. We collect addresses (mailing and e-mail) and financial information (credit card numbers) in order to process all orders. All customer information is retained incase there are any problems with the order placed so that we can contact you. All financial information is encrypted through our shopping cart software and is located on a secure server in order to protect your privacy. We will never knowingly release any of your information for any purpose unless your accrediting agency requires it.

J&K Seminars, LLC has a secure website that utilizes encryption technology to protect you and your sensitive data. Our website has two types of webpages, informational webpages and webpages that require the user to input sensitive data like user names, passwords or credit card information. All of our informational webpages are not considered secure pages as they only provide you with information and don't request information to be inputted. As soon as you click on an icon to add something to your shopping cart and then check out, you will see that the website address (URL) will change from 'http://jkseminars.com/...' to 'https://jkseminars.com/...'. The addition of the 'S' after the 'http' signifies that the encryption security is in place and the webpage is now secure.
You may also see a little lock appear after the website address (URL) at the top of your web browser. This lock signifies that the website is now secure. If you click on the lock icon, you should see a message box that says that the server is encrypted. If you click on 'View Certificate' inside this message box you will see the details about the certificate, that it's issued to www.jkseminars.com, that it's issued by Equifax and it's valid dates. If you are still concerned with the security of this website, please feel free to place your order by phone, mail or fax instead. We do use a third party to process credit card payments. This company does not retain, share nor store any personally identifiable information for any other purposes other then processing your credit card payment. They will not distribute this secure information.
IP Addresses and Cookies
When you visit our website, our website stores your IP address in our log files. This IP address does not give us any information other then a numeric address and which pages that address has visited. It does not tell us who owns the IP address nor does it have any personal information like your e-mail address, phone number, mailing address or name. We use this information from time to time to evaluate our web traffic and find ways to improve upon our website.
When it comes to cookies, a cookie is piece of data stored on your computer's hard drive as a text file. It can only be read by the website that places the cookie on your computer. We use cookies when you are filling out user information like creating a user name for our on-line shopping cart.
