Flying or Riding to Lancaster, PA | AIRPORT & RAIL INFORMATION
There are three major airports within driving distance of the Wyndham Lancaster Resort & Convention Center:
- Harrisburg/Middletown (MDT) 40 minute drive
- Philadelphia (PHL) 90 minute drive
- Baltimore (BWI) 100 minutes drive
A small airport is located in Lancaster, PA (LNS). Connecting flights are available from Baltimore (BWI) through Cape Air for $50 each way. The Wyndham Lancaster Resort & Convention Center will provide complimentary shuttle service. Call them a couple of days ahead to make arrangements. (800) 407-9832
It is possible to take a train from the Philadelphia Airport to Philadelphia's 30th Street Station and then to Lancaster.
There are no shuttles to Lancaster from any of these three airports.
A taxi from the Harrisburg/Middletown (MDT) airport will cost about $80 plus gratuity.
If you are traveling to Lancaster from the Philadelphia or Baltimore airports, we recommend using a car service (which costs less than an airport taxi). We are familiar with and like Landis Limo - 800-325-9004. Their car service from Philadelphia airport will cost about $190 including gratuity. From Baltimore, the car service will cost about $182 including gratuity. The least expensive car service we could find was Expressions 717-556-5466. They charge $174 including gratuity to either Philadelphia or Baltimore airports.
It is possible you may find someone at the seminar that could drop you off at any of the airports Friday afternoon.
DRIVING DIRECTIONS: AIRPORT TO WYNDHAM LANCASTER RESORT & CONVENTION CENTER
2300 Lincoln Highway East - Lancaster, PA 17602
From Philadelphia Airport (PHL)Follow signs to Route 95 South. Exit Route 95 at 322 West. Take 322 West to Route 1 South (turn left at the Route 1 light). Take Route 1 South to Route 41. Turn right onto Route 41 at stop sign. Take 41 North to Route 30 (Gap). Turn left onto Route 30 going West. After about 13 miles, the Wyndham Lancaster Resort and Convention Center will be on your left on Route 30 (Lincoln Highway). - (about 90 minutes)
From Baltimore (BWI)Take Elm Rd. to I-95W to Route 83 North (toward Towson). Go around York on Route 83 to Market Street (Route 462). Cross Market St. and continue to Route 30 (3rd traffic light). Turn right and continue on Route 30 East to Lancaster (approximately 23 miles) and around Lancaster on Route 30 East for about eight more miles. The Wyndham Lancaster Resort and Convention Center will be on your right after the 4th traffic light. (about 100 minutes)
Harrisburg/Middletown (MDT) Take Route 283-E to Route 30 East in Lancaster. Continue on Route 30 for about 9 miles to the Wyndham Lancaster Resort and Convention Center
on your right (after the 4th traffic light).- (about 40 minutes)
TRAIN INFORMATION
The Lancaster Amtrak station is about 7 miles from the Wyndham Lancaster Resort and Convention Center. The Wyndham Lancaster Resort and Convention Center will provide complimentary shuttle service. Call them a couple of days ahead to make arrangements. (800) 407-9832
