Ethical Considerations in Providing Telemental Health
Telemental health has become a significant part of almost all aspects of mental health treatment. As clinicians incorporate telemental health services into their daily work, questions arise regarding best practices and how to deliver practical, ethical, and successful telemental health. This program will address informed consent for telemental health, HIPAA, privacy and confidentiality, assessment issues, office and technology information, providing virtual supervision, reimbursement for telemental health and working across state borders through PSYPACT.
This home study program satisfies the PSYPACT requirement for three (3) hours of continuing education relevant to the use of technology in psychology.
